Napsu – School and sports hall

Napsu is a multifunctional building located in Rovaniemi, Northern Finland, that will merge three existing schools and a variety of community activities. Realised through an alliance model, the building design consists of the refurbishment of an old school at the lot, as well as a new building serving as an extension. The construction has begun in the summer of 2023.

In addition to basic education, Napsu and its grounds offer spaces for activities held by youth work, adult education, the church, and associations of the area. The design will provide spaces for clubs, events and courses through the week, at any desired time.
